Frozen Power Plate Meals tray containing meatloaf with garlic mashed potatoes; package says Keep Frozen and NET WT 13.3 oz.

WASHINGTON, June 25 (DC Times Online) — Consumers who bought frozen Power Plate Meals meatloaf dinners should check their freezers and avoid eating them after the U.S. Department of Agriculture said about 5,795 pounds were recalled because soy was not listed on the label.

The Food Safety and Inspection Service said the affected 13.3-ounce vacuum-sealed trays are labeled “POWER PLATE MEALS MEATLOAF WITH GARLIC MASHED POTATOES” and carry use-by dates from June 25, 2026, through June 10, 2027. The packages also bear establishment number “217SEND” inside the USDA mark of inspection.

FSIS said the meals were produced between June 25, 2025, and June 10, 2026, and shipped to distributors in Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota. The agency said the recall began after a state inspector notified it that soy, a known allergen, had been left off the ingredients list.

FSIS said there have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions. The agency told consumers not to eat the products and to throw them away or return them to the place of purchase, warning that some of the meals may still be in home freezers.
