LAGUNA BEACH, Calif., June 27 (Laguna Beach Daily) — Laguna Beach’s annual July 4 fireworks show will originate from Monument Point at Heisler Park and use about 300 pounds of explosive during a 20-minute display, according to city and regional water board records.

The city says the show is set to begin at about 9 p.m. on July 4. A California regional water board document lists Mark McAvoy, the city’s director of public works and utilities, as the contact for the event.

City records list Laguna Beach Fire Station 1 at 501 Forest Avenue. A separate water board filing for the fireworks event gives the city mailing address as 505 Forest Avenue.
