NEW YORK, June 9 (DC Times Online) — President Donald Trump attended Game 3 of the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden on June 8, where Fox News reported he drew a mixed reaction when shown on the arena video board during the national anthem.

The game was between the New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs, Fox News reported. A Getty Images caption by photographer Samuel Corum identified Trump at the start of Game 3 in New York City.

Fox News reported that some fans cheered when Trump appeared on the big screen, while boos were louder as he saluted from a suite.

Trump was shown with his granddaughter Kai Trump on his right and Knicks owner James Dolan on his left, according to Fox News.

The outlet reported that the moment contrasted with Trump’s reception at the College Football National Championship at Hard Rock Stadium, where the crowd cheered when he appeared on the Jumbotron during the national anthem.

Fox News reported that after the shot of Trump ended, the arena video returned to NYPD officers holding flags on the court.
