The Americans had already clinched first place in Group D and are set to face Bosnia and Herzegovina in the round of 32 on July 1 in Santa Clara, California.

Kaan Ayhan scored Türkiye’s winner in stoppage time. Arda Güler and Barış Alper Yılmaz also scored for Türkiye.
