BOSTON, June 28 (Nationwide Times) — At least six people were injured Saturday when a duck boat overturned near a Charles River ramp in Cambridge, Massachusetts, during a sightseeing trip in the Boston area, police said.

Cambridge police spokesperson Bob Reardon said the tour boat had 32 people aboard when it turned on its side. He said Cambridge Fire had accounted for everyone on the boat.

Police said some of the injuries were minor and two were more serious. Boston EMS later said 11 people were injured, including one person with serious injuries.

Authorities said the boat overturned near Museum Way and Education Street, close to the river entrance. The passengers did not end up in the water.

Massachusetts State Police said it would lead the investigation. One account said the boat was being towed when a tow rope broke; another said the cause was not immediately clear.
